Are You Healthy, Slim or Just Skinny?

Within the widespread public the impression of being under athletic limits of weight and being healthy is more or less the same. But if one is slim or even weighing less than normal then too there is no certainty of him/her being unconditionally fit to combat the odds. Cases where a person is slim with active persona but undergoes sleeplessness, hunger cramps, is worried all the time, has to take sleeping pills to calm then would you tag the individual healthy? No not at all. Being physically fit is not just on the beyond, a perfectly healthy individual is one who has both physical and mental peace and is able to take up all daily routine hurdles popping time to time.

The following are a some commonly adopted wrong actions to stay thin that indeed makes one a step away from being healthy:

Just cutting down calories: The thought of zero size figures has been an appreciated thought worshipped these days. Even those who are pleasingly thin also try to achieve the plastic doll body as very much marketed around. In the process most surrender food and remain starved with absolutely empty stomach. For certain shedding those extra pound issues need a calorie cut but making an inconsistent calorie control is never ever a healthy act. A healthy calorie intake from just the nourishing articles should be the committee and not just leaving every meals and staying entirely on plain water.

No physical activity: Ideal weight scales with just controlled intake of food and lack of physical activity may let one fit in those extra curvy clothes but doen’t bring in sensible well being. To some extent being feeling good only on the outside has no assurance to make it well in the mindset as well. Also the physical activity help diminishes the maximum from the food and helps in digestion.

Unhappy minds: With no food and life cycle going on there is something to pile up stress along with the harmful weight loss. With an partially filled tummy the nervousness levels and stress tend to increase and lead difficult issues.

One go deed: Also there are numerous smart embarrassed dieters who know their each day calorie requirements and take up all in one meal and keep themselves physically distant of the dining table the entire day. For example eating a pie in the noon and keeping themselves hungry all day to just change the calorie count is certainly an unhealthy move to ponder.

How to be fit and slim?
Have small frequent meals time to time: A separation of food in six to seven meals in an aligned way within the day is a sensible move. Also an early dinner nearly 2 hours before bed time is an excellent example.

Be active: Atleast 40 minutes a day of workout is a must

Always relax too: Relaxation and deep breathing exercises should also be positioned well within the regime to make excellent health both in the mind and body.

Always take sincere help: Consulting a dietician is much better idea, somebody skilled person can help in cutting down the extra calories in a healthy format.

Detoxification with a lot of fluids preferably water: Drinking 10 to 12 glasses of water in a day for every individual is must whether slim, plum or obese.

The choices are many but it is for you to take up a healthy life or a slim perfect ten figure but no health to account. You can be slim and healthy or just skinny.

Why Are Toxins Making You Fat?

It’s a fact that we are in the midst of a fat epidemic. Overweight and obesity are serious health risks. Obesity contributes to heart disease, diabetes, stroke, and some cancers. But what are the reasons for this epidemic? It is not by accident that American obesity levels are rising right alongside the increase in environmental toxins.

The “love handles” and “stomach pooch” around your waist could actually be toxic-waste storage sites! There are many factors that contribute to weight gain, lack of exercise, super-sized fast food meals and one factor that is often overlooked by traditional diets is toxic overload.
Simply put, people often have difficulty losing weight because their bodies are full of nasty poisons. These poisons or toxins can come from many sources, including pesticides, growth hormone, antibiotics and other things found in the food that we eat as well as chemicals found in our cleaning products, hair care products, make-up, and other chemicals that leach into your food from packaging, etc…
When toxins build up in the body, the liver and other organ systems try to filter them out of the body, when the liver is overloaded and overworked, it cannot efficiently burn body fat and the toxins are stored in fat cells. The more toxins the body is storing, the more fat it is likely to accumulate and retain (toxins stored in fat cells are difficult to get rid of through dieting alone). When the body is overloaded with toxins, it transfers its energy away from burning calories and uses that energy to work harder to detoxify the body.
So the first step in any weight loss program should include Detoxification!
1. Flush the body – Flush the body of toxins with an herbal or nutrition cleanse.
2. Exercise – very important for the body to function and cleanse (find something you love to do. Find a workout partner that loves doing what you want to do. So much so they will help you not skip a workout).
3. Eat local organic fruits and vegetables
4. Choose organic meats
5. Choose unprocessed foods
6. Choose natural skin and hair products – that don’t contain chemicals and dyes. The skin is a source of absorption as well as elimination. Keep it clean.
7. Avoid Household toxins – rid your home of chemicals by using Green Cleaners or make your own.
8. Take steam baths or saunas – Saunas are actually a very effective way to eliminate toxins. A daily sauna session of 15 minutes, can assist detox by excreting toxins through the skin (it is best to shower before you sauna to get all the stuff off your skin. That way, when your pores open up from the steam you are not clogging them up).
9. Once the body is free of toxins, it is much easier to maintain optimal weight. A good diet and fitness routine is a must.
10. Drink water – the International Sports Medicine Institute suggests you drink half your weight in ounces of water each day (first thing in the morning drink 8oz before you do anything else).

How Detox Programs Remove Toxins and Prevent Weight Loss Failure

Permanent weight loss is dependent upon peak liver performance. In order to burn fat and lose weight, our liver converts fat in the form of triglycerides into energy. However, fat soluble toxins in the liver severely impede your liver function and stop fat burning. A well-designed program that supports the liver will enhance fat burning and result in permanent weight loss…

Your liver is responsible for maintaining energy balance for different systems throughout the body that require energy to do their function. Muscle uses free fatty acids, the brain uses glucose for energy. When the liver is required to make energy from stored fatty acids due to calorie restriction, toxins that are stored in fat cells along with triglycerides are circulated into the liver for processing.
The liver is like a factory that has limited resources and cannot function without proper maintenance. Toxins cause the liver to require more resources (special amino acids, polypeptides, vitamins, minerals, and enzymes) and without them, similar to a factory, the liver will shut down. In order to break the load of toxins coming into the factory the liver will halt the process of breaking down triglycerides. Circulating triglycerides are restored into fat cells. Hence, the process of burning free fatty acids is reversed due to toxic overload in the liver.
When the liver cannot process toxins fast enough, it will not convert the fat into glucose for energy consumption. At this point weight loss stops or worse, weight begins to accumulate again even on a low calorie diet.
In order to lose weight and excess body fat, a weight loss program must encourage the consumption and reduction of internal fat rather than protein. If the body consumes protein instead of fat it breaks down muscle and connective tissue resulting in weakness and emaciation.
The solution to successful long term weight loss begins with a detox system that will support and increase liver metabolism in order to reduce toxic load that naturally surges as fat cells are consumed for energy. (It’s like running a car engine with 94 octane versus 87 octane).
To be effective weight loss should be a system that is followed over time. For those who are serious about permanent weight loss, one of the best initial programs is a simple and effective 14 day detox system.
The goal is to get healthy and eliminate toxins in our bodies such as pesticides, herbicides and industrial chemicals that enter our bodies through the food we eat, water, juices, sodas, alcohol and the air we breathe. These toxins enter our bodies negatively affecting our health, vitality and contribute to chronic diseases. A 14 day detox system can remove toxins from our bodies enabling the body to lose weight and reduce body fat. Other benefits include increased energy, healthier skin and hair, restful sleep, clear thinking, positive moods and the start to healthy habits for prolonged health.
Additional benefits of a 14 Day Detox System include:
• Improves digestion issues
• Reduces or eliminates bad breath • Reduces fatigue and increases energy • Relieves constipation and headaches • Improves skin, reducing or eliminating itchy skin and rashes • Relieves joint pain • Increases concentration and reduces irritability

A successful 14 day detox program includes a balanced diet supplemented with protein, herbs, nutrients and antioxidants to help the liver balance detoxification pathways.

Be sure to avoid foods such as sugar, sweeteners, gluten containing grains including wheat, oats and rye, dairy products alcohol and desserts.
Implementing a 14 day detox program is a simple and effective short term strategy for getting you on a path of long term health and permanent weight loss.

The Master Cleanse Detox Diet

The Master Cleanse Diet has been around since the 1940s but became a huge hit in 2008. This detox lemonade diet provides a healthy amount of calories and nutrients specifically suited for weight loss and cleansing of toxins within the body. The cleanse helps to rest the digestive system which allows the body to heal naturally. The cleanse needs to be performed for at least 10 days and for as long as 40 days.

I am a 27 year old fitness trainer and have done The Master Cleanse Diet numerous times when I felt that I had become sluggish and began to have headaches on a daily basis without any additional stress. The way the cleanse works is to keep it as simple as possible. The lemonade, which is the main source of nutrition during the cleanse, consists of 2 tablespoons of freshly squeezed lemon juice, 2 tablespoons of Grade B (pure) Maple Syrup and as much cayenne pepper as you can handle into a tall glass of pure water. This lemonade should be consumed from 6 – 12 times a day in order to maintain the correct amount of daily caloric intake and to keep detoxifying. In addition to the lemonade, a salt water flush and laxative tea is suggested. The salt water flush is supposed to be taken in the mornings and consists of four classes of water with 2 teaspoons of unrefined sea salt. I have tried the flush and unfortunately my gag reflex does not handle it well, but many others can get through it with little discomfort. The benefit of the salt water flush is that you will eliminate the waste left in your body within an hour of drinking it. The second aid is the laxative tea. This tea consists of the senna herb as well as licorice rout for settle sweetness. The tea should be taken at night before bed since it takes anywhere from 6 – 8 hours to eliminate waste.
I have found through personal experience that drinking the lemonade warm makes it taste better and I can drink more of it. The lemonade sounds very limited but you will be surprised at how filling it actually is. The longest I have done this cleanse for was 35 days and I lost 37 pounds and a flatter stomach. I also fall asleep easier and wake up completely refreshed, without experiencing any sharp hunger pains.
I definitely recommend The Master Cleanse Detox Diet to anyone who is looking to detoxify and help aid their healthier lifestyle change.
I hope that my article about my personal experience with The Master Cleanse Diet has some helpful tips and guidance for you to begin your own detox and cleanse. For more information please visit my website.

7 Ways To Detox Your Body

Detoxification is defined as the physiological or medicinal removal of toxins from the human body. There may be a period of withdrawal after long-term use of an addictive substance before the person returns to normal. Here are a few tips to assist you on your detox journey so you can get started today…

– Drink lots of water and caffeine-free teas. You should be drinking anywhere from 8 to 12 cups of water a day (even more, if you are an athlete or working out intensely). Do not drink diet sodas. They contain toxins that accumulate in your body and will impair performance over time. Diet sodas also contain chemicals that throw your hormones out of whack.
– Toxins are stored in fat. There are two ways to decrease your fat stores without surgery: diet and exercise. Do both to decrease body fat and decrease the amount of toxins in your body.
– Sweat! This goes along with the previous example. Your body expels toxins through your sweat. Break a sweat working out or by spending a few minutes in the sauna or steam room.
– Chlorella is a single-celled fresh water algae that binds to heavy metals, like mercury, and removes it from the body. Make sure you are buying “broken cell wall” chlorella, which means that it is digestible. Otherwise, it will pass right through you. No one wants to waste money in this economy.
– One of the many important jobs of the liver is to detox the body. The liver is subject to oxidative damage as it detoxifies the rest of the body. With that said, it is of the utmost importance to keep our liver healthy. One way to do this is not to consume more than one drink containing alcohol per day. Another way is to take a milk thistle supplement, which is rich in silymarins. These compounds help liver cells to regenerate, prevent them from absorbing too many toxins, and are powerful antioxidants that prevent oxidative damage to liver tissues.
– Eat fresh asparagus and broccoli to get more glutathione in your body. Glutathione is a super-antioxidant that protects every cell in your body, helps the liver process toxins, removes toxins from the body, and protects the liver from oxidative damage.
– Eat kale, cauliflower, brussel sprouts, or any veggies that are high in Vitamin C. This antioxidant is needed to maintain adequate amounts of glutathione and Vitamin E in the body.
